Course Overview

This 1 day course allows holders of the qualification to apply for a personal licence under the Licensing Act 2003 (England and Wales) which allows the holder to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol on licensed premises.

Successful candidates will gain an understanding of the application process for a personal licence, the legal duties of a personal licence holder and the role, responsibilities and functions of licensing authorities.

The Qualsafe Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification. It has been specifically designed for those who want to work in, or are looking to advance their career in, the licensed retail sector, such as in a retail, bar, restaurant or pub setting.

Learners must be atleast 18 years old.

English Language

Learners should have, at a minimum, language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Ofqual Level 1 or an equivalent standard. If you are unsure whether you meet this requirement, please contact us.

Learners will be assessed through a Theory Assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper).

 

Successful learners will receive a personalised Qualsafe Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (RQF) e-Certificate once moderation has been completed by Qualsafe Awards.
