This course is one of the unitary qualifications within QNUK’s Venue Security & Safety suite. It provides the learner with the key knowledge required to respond to critical, terroristic, violent and crowd incidents.
This qualification is for learners who work in a frontline role ensuring the security and safety of customers at public events. It covers the gap between SIA licence-linked and Spectator safety qualifications, including a wide range of subjects from appropriate responses to a ‘person of interest’, clear and obvious threats, entry point compromise and crowd surges. The roles and responsibilities within a multi-agency response are also covered from an operative’s perspective.
All pricing is inclusive of VAT. For training outside of our core delivery area (North West, Midlands and West Yorkshire), additional costs for travel and accommodation may apply.
This qualification is aimed at learners aged 18 years and over.
English Language
Learners should have, at a minimum, language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Ofqual Level 1 or an equivalent standard. If you are unsure whether you meet this requirement, please contact us.
All learners must have completed the ACT Awareness and ACT Security eLearning prior to attending the course and provide the trainer with copies of the certificates.
The method of assessment for this qualification is by Multiple Choice Examination (MCQ).
As this qualification is regulated in England, the assessments are conducted in English. It is important that learners have reasonable abilities in English language to have a fair opportunity to being successful.
Learners who successfully complete this course and assessment will gain a Level 2 Award in Responding to Security and Safety Incidents (RQF).
This course is on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
The QNUK Level 2 Award in Responding to Security and Safety Incidents can benefit your team by giving learners the knowledge needed to respond more effectively to critical, terroristic, violent, and crowd-related incidents. FGH Training delivers this course to help teams improve situational awareness, strengthen incident response knowledge, and build confidence in dealing with serious safety and security issues in public event settings.
This course is suitable for learners working in a frontline role focused on the security and safety of customers at public events. FGH Training delivers it for people who need a better understanding of how to respond to serious incidents from an operative’s perspective, particularly where there is a gap between SIA licence-linked learning and spectator safety knowledge.
Learners will gain key knowledge on how to respond to critical, terroristic, violent, and crowd incidents in public event environments. Through FGH Training, they will build a clearer understanding of appropriate responses to persons of interest, clear and obvious threats, entry point compromise, crowd surges, and the roles and responsibilities involved in a multi-agency response.
This course is useful because it helps organisations strengthen their approach to safety and security at public events by giving people more focused knowledge on incident response. FGH Training provides this qualification as a practical way to improve preparedness, support more informed decision-making, and help bridge the gap between standard security training and the realities of managing serious incidents in live environments.
Yes. FGH Training delivers this as a regulated qualification, and learners who successfully complete the course and assessment gain a Level 2 Award in Responding to Security and Safety Incidents (RQF).
