This course is one of the unitary qualifications within QNUK’s Venue Security & Safety suite. It provides the learner with the key knowledge required to respond to critical, terroristic, violent and crowd incidents.
This qualification is aimed at learners who work in a frontline role ensuring the security and safety of customers at public events but could also be beneficial for operations and venue managers.
It covers the gap between SIA licence-linked and Spectator safety qualifications, including a wide range of subjects from understanding how to use information resources to build an anticipated profile of a crowd, those outside a venue and the methodology of analysing their behaviours to identify potential safety and security risks. Responses to perceived ‘persons of interest’ are also covered from an operative’s perspective.
All pricing is inclusive of VAT. For training outside of our core delivery area (North West, Midlands and West Yorkshire), additional costs for travel and accommodation may apply.
This qualification is aimed at learners aged 18 years and over.
English Language
Learners should have, at a minimum, language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Ofqual Level 1 or an equivalent standard. If you are unsure whether you meet this requirement, please contact us.
All learners must have completed the ACT Awareness and ACT Security eLearning prior to attending the course and provide the trainer with copies of the certificates.
The method of assessment for this qualification is by Multiple Choice Examination (MCQ).
As this qualification is regulated in England, the assessments are conducted in English. It is important that learners have reasonable abilities in English language to have a fair opportunity to being successful.
Learners who successfully complete this course and assessment will gain a Level 2 Award in Behavioural Analysis in Events, Individuals and Crowds (RQF).
This course is on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
Behavioural analysis is important because it helps people recognise patterns, warning signs, and changes in behaviour that may indicate a developing safety or security risk. FGH Training delivers this course to help organisations improve awareness of crowd dynamics, identify possible persons of interest, and support earlier intervention where concerns arise in public event settings.
This course is suitable for learners working in frontline roles focused on the security and safety of customers at public events, and it can also benefit operations and venue managers. FGH Training delivers it for people who need a better understanding of crowd profiling, behavioural observation, and risk recognition in live event environments.
Learners will gain knowledge on how to use information resources to build an anticipated profile of a crowd, understand behaviours inside and outside a venue, and identify potential safety and security risks. Through FGH Training, they will also develop a clearer understanding of how to respond to perceived persons of interest from an operative’s perspective.
This course is useful because it helps organisations strengthen their approach to safety and security at public events by improving how people assess behaviour, spot risks, and respond to concerns. FGH Training provides this qualification as a practical way to bridge the gap between SIA licence-linked learning and spectator safety training, giving teams knowledge that is directly relevant to real event operations.
Yes. FGH Training delivers this as a regulated qualification, and successful learners gain a Level 2 Award in Behavioural Analysis in Events, Individuals and Crowds (RQF).
