The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who work, or intend to work, in a role that involves manual handling.
It is ideal for those working in a variety of environments, including warehouses and shops.
During this 1-day course, learners will be taught the key principles of manual handling and how to apply these to their workplace. They will also practise a wide range of techniques, ensuring that they leave the course confident and proficient in moving and handling.
All pricing is inclusive of VAT. For training outside of our core delivery area (North West, Midlands and West Yorkshire), additional costs for travel and accommodation may apply.
English Language
Learners should have, at a minimum, language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Ofqual Level 1 or an equivalent standard. If you are unsure whether you meet this requirement, please contact us.

As this qualification is regulated in England, the assessments are conducted in English. It is important that learners have reasonable abilities in the English language to have a fair opportunity to be successful.
Successful learners will receive a personalised Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling certificate.
This course is on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
This course is suitable for employees who carry out, or are preparing for, roles involving manual handling. This may include team members working in warehousing, retail, hospitality, logistics, facilities management, construction and other environments where items are regularly lifted, carried or moved.
Learners will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to move and handle items more safely. The course covers common injuries, workplace responsibilities, risk assessment and the correct use of handling equipment. Learners will also practise individual and team-based handling techniques.

If you have a larger group and access to a venue that can comfortably accommodate more than 12 learners, please contact us to discuss your requirements. Larger groups will require a tailored quote and, depending on the course and awarding-body requirements, may need an additional trainer or delivery across multiple sessions.
