This qualification is for those working in environments where they are likely to have to deal with aggressive individuals. Examples may include those working in service industries or retail. The qualification is not for those that are likely to have to intervene in violent situations.
By completing this qualification, learners will be able to outline the legal aspects related to work-related violence and understand common risk and control factors related to workplace violence and be able to recognise and manage incidents of aggression and abusive behaviour.
All pricing is inclusive of VAT. For training outside of our core delivery area (North West, Midlands and West Yorkshire), additional costs for travel and accommodation may apply.
English Language
Learners should have, at a minimum, language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Ofqual Level 1 or an equivalent standard. If you are unsure whether you meet this requirement, please contact us.
The method of assessment for this qualification is by Multiple Choice Examination (MCQ).
As this qualification is regulated in England, the assessments are conducted in English. It is important that learners have reasonable abilities in English language to have a fair opportunity to being successful.
Successful learners will receive a personalised Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling (RQF).
