Course Overview

The qualification is designed for learners who have contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults in their working environment including voluntary work.

The qualification promotes awareness and sensitivity to safeguarding enabling learners to be able to identify issues and emphasises the responsibility to ensure that concerns are reported and acted on appropriately.

All pricing is inclusive of VAT. For training outside of our core delivery area (North West, Midlands and West Yorkshire), additional costs for travel and accommodation may apply.

English Language

Learners should have, at a minimum, language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Ofqual Level 1 or an equivalent standard. If you are unsure whether you meet this requirement, please contact us.

The qualification is assessed through a written assessment.

As this qualification is regulated in England, the assessments are conducted in English. It is important that learners have reasonable abilities in English language to have a fair opportunity to being successful.

Successful learners will receive a Level 3 Award in Principles of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults.

This course is on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
