This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides learners with the knowledge and understanding to safeguard and protect children, young people and adults at risk of harm and abuse in the workplace, as well as how to recognise the signs and symptoms and respond to evidence or concerns that a vulnerable person has been abused.
This qualification is also suitable for those who have a specific responsibility in safeguarding and protecting in environments such as the NHS, education providers and social services.
All pricing is inclusive of VAT. For training outside of our core delivery area (North West, Midlands and West Yorkshire), additional costs for travel and accommodation may apply.
English Language
Learners should have, at a minimum, language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Ofqual Level 1 or an equivalent standard. If you are unsure whether you meet this requirement, please contact us.
The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Adults at Risk (RQF) has 1 unit that learners are required to complete in order to achieve the qualification:

The method of assessment for this qualification is a multiple-choice examination (MCQ).
As this qualification is regulated in England, the assessments are conducted in English. It is important that learners have reasonable abilities in English language to have a fair opportunity to be successful.
Successful learners will receive a personalised Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Safeguarding Children, Young People and Adults at Risk (RQF) e-Certificate.
This course is on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
This course is suitable for learners who have contact with children, young people, or vulnerable adults in their working environment, including voluntary work. FGH Training delivers it for organisations that want their teams to better understand safeguarding responsibilities and feel more confident recognising and responding to concerns.
The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Adults at Risk can benefit your team by giving learners a clearer understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and helping them recognise concerns in a working environment. FGH Training delivers this course to build awareness, improve confidence in identifying issues, and support a more informed approach to reporting and acting on safeguarding concerns appropriately.
Learners will gain a stronger awareness of safeguarding and a better understanding of how to identify possible issues and respond appropriately. Through FGH Training, they will build the knowledge needed to recognise concerns, understand their responsibility, and make sure issues are reported and acted on in the correct way.
We can accommodate up to 12 learners on health and safety courses delivered in our classrooms.
If you have a larger group and access to a venue that can comfortably accommodate more than 12 learners, please contact us to discuss your requirements. Larger groups will require a tailored quote and, depending on the course and awarding-body requirements, may need an additional trainer or delivery across multiple sessions.
Yes. FGH Training delivers this as a regulated qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework, and successful learners receive a Level 3 Award in Principles of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults after completion.
