Course Overview

This session aims to develop greater awareness of how individuals and crowds react and behave in crowded places.

Learners will build an understanding of the basics of crowd dynamics and psychology and gain knowledge of technical skills such as calculating flow rates through identified routes.

This course can be delivered over half a day for an awareness session (£355) or over a full day (£595) for more in-depth discussion of the principles covered.

Our classrooms are capped at 12 learners, but if your venue allows for more, the class size can be increased by speaking to a member of the Training Team.

All pricing is inclusive of VAT. For training outside of our core delivery area (North West, Midlands and West Yorkshire), additional costs for travel and accommodation may apply.

Enrolment Criteria

English Language

Learners should have, at a minimum, language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Ofqual Level 1 or an equivalent standard. If you are unsure whether you meet this requirement, please contact us.

Learners will explore using RAMP analysis to predict and assess risk and demonstrate how to model an event by crowd phases (Arrival, Last Mile Ingress, Circulation, Egress, and Dispersal) and crowd influences (Design, Information, and Management).

Learners will receive an e-certificate from FGH Training.
