This course is suitable for people working in the hospitality industry, especially those in licensed venues where conflict, challenging behaviour, or workplace violence may arise. FGH Training delivers it for organisations that want their teams to feel more confident handling difficult situations and understanding their role in keeping the working environment safer.

Learners will gain an understanding of workplace violence in hospitality settings, along with the principles of risk assessment and risk management linked to conflict situations. Through FGH Training, they will also build awareness of the impact workplace violence can have on people and the importance of giving proper support after an incident.

This course is useful because hospitality venues often deal with fast-paced, public-facing situations where tensions can rise quickly. FGH Training provides this course as a practical way for businesses to improve awareness, reduce risk, and help people respond more effectively when conflict involves customers or colleagues.

Yes. FGH Training includes guidance on workplace violence in hospitality settings and covers the responsibilities of employers and employees under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. That makes the course useful not just for confidence, but also for helping people understand the legal and practical side of managing conflict at work.
