Paediatric First Aid is important because it gives learners the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond to first aid incidents involving infants and children. FGH Training delivers this course to help learners deal with emergencies confidently, from unresponsive casualties and CPR through to choking, anaphylaxis, asthma, meningitis, and head or spinal injuries.
This course is suitable for people working in early years settings, registered childminders and assistants, and those who need a full paediatric first aid certificate to meet EYFS requirements. FGH Training also delivers it for parents, grandparents, and others who want to build the skills needed to respond to paediatric first aid situations with confidence.
Learners will gain practical paediatric first aid knowledge and the confidence to deal with a wide range of incidents involving infants and children. Through FGH Training, they will develop the skills needed to assess an emergency, provide immediate care, and respond appropriately until further help is available.
This course is useful because it helps organisations make sure the right people are trained to respond to incidents involving infants and children, while also supporting compliance with recognised early years requirements. FGH Training provides this qualification as a practical way for nurseries, childcare providers, and other organisations to improve emergency readiness and protect the children in their care.
This course supports EYFS requirements because it is designed to meet the criteria set by the Department for Education’s EYFS framework. FGH Training delivers it for people who need a recognised, full paediatric first aid qualification so they can meet role requirements and, where relevant, be included in child-to-adult ratios within early years settings.
