The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in citizenAID (RQF) is a regulated qualification designed to teach members of the public life-saving skills for use in the event of a deliberate multiple casualty incident.
Based on the citizenAID Pocket Guide and Phone App, this qualification covers the ‘Run, Hide, Tell’ advice and also extends this to add ‘Treat’. This qualification teaches learners how to react safely, pass on effective messages to the emergency services, prioritise the injured and give life-saving first aid in extreme situations.
The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in citizenAID (RQF) qualification has been developed for all members of the public who wish to learn valuable life-saving skills and techniques for use in the event of a shooting, stabbing, bombing or other deliberate incident.
This qualification is particularly useful for those who work in high risk environments where the risk of a deliberate multiple casualty attack should be considered, including: airports, train and bus stations, schools/colleges, shopping centres, and large public events.
All pricing is inclusive of VAT. For training outside of our core delivery area (North West, Midlands and West Yorkshire), additional costs for travel and accommodation may apply.

Successful learners will receive a Qualsafe Level 2 Award in citizenAID (RQF) e-Certificate.
This course is on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
The Qualsafe Level 2 CitizenAID course is important because it helps learners understand how to respond during a deliberate multiple casualty incident before the emergency services take control. FGH Training delivers this course to build confidence in those first critical moments, including how to react safely, pass on clear information, prioritise casualties, and give life-saving first aid in extreme situations.
This course is suitable for members of the public who want to learn practical life-saving skills for use during incidents such as shootings, stabbings, bombings, or other deliberate attacks. Through FGH Training, it is particularly relevant for people working in places where the risk of a deliberate incident should be considered, especially busy public or high-footfall environments.
Learners will gain a better understanding of how to respond safely under pressure and how to take simple but effective action before professional help arrives. FGH Training uses this course to help learners build awareness of the CitizenAID principles, including Run, Hide, Tell, Treat, so they leave with practical knowledge that can be applied in real-world emergencies.
This course is useful for workplaces and organisations because serious incidents can happen in public-facing settings without warning. FGH Training provides CitizenAID as a practical way to improve emergency readiness, support safer decision-making, and help people understand their role in the early stages of a deliberate incident. It is especially useful in environments where there are large numbers of people or regular public access.
This course is most relevant in environments where there is higher public footfall or where the risk of a deliberate multiple casualty incident should be part of planning. FGH Training delivers this course for organisations operating in places such as transport hubs, education settings, shopping centres, and large public events, where early action and clear thinking can make a real difference.
